Formalism and Functionalism in Linguistics: Lectures in the History of Linguistics
בשבוע הראשון של דצמבר נארח את ההיסטוריונית של הבלשנות, פרופ’ מרגרט תומס (בוסטון קולג’). פרופ’ תומס תתן שתי הרצאות בקולוקיום בר-הלל, האחת במכון כהן באוניברסיטת תל אביב (ביום שני, 2.12), והשניה באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים (ביום חמישי, 5.12).
ביום שלישי (3.12) ב-12:00 נערוך באוניברסיטת תל אביב סדנה בעקבות ספרה החדש של פרופ’ תומס העוסק ביחסים בין פורמליזם ופונקציונליזם בבלשנות. בסדנה תהיה לנו הזדמנות לדון בפרק הראשון של הספר ולחשוב על האפנים שבהם גם ההשכלה הבלשנית שלנו עוצבה לאורם של היחסים בין פורמליזם ופונקציונליזם. השתתפות בסדנה דורשת רישום מראש ומותנית במספר המקומות הנותרים. אנא כתבו ללין חלוזין-דברת <lin1chd@tauex.tau.ac.il>.
