שמחים להזמינכם לכנס בינלאומי ובין-תחומי ייחודי אשר מפגיש חוקרים ממדע המדינה עם חוקרים מפסיכולוגיה בנושא “דעות קדומות ואפליה בחברה ובפוליטיקה”.
בשנים האחרונות, מדינות מערביות רבות נאלצות להתמודד עם עליה מתמדת באפליה ובהדרה החברתית כלפי מיעוטים ותת-קבוצות אחרות. למעשה, ההתמודדות עם תופעות אלה נחשבת לאחד האתגרים הבוערים בעולם המערבי כיום. הבנה מעמיקה של תופעות אלה דורשת גישה רב-תחומית וחדשנית.
בכנס, בו ישתתפו חוקרים מובילים משתי הדיסציפלינות, תיבחן השאלה כיצד השילוב בין פרספקטיבות פסיכולוגיות ופוליטיות יכול לשפר את הבנתנו את התופעות הללו, ולייצר התערבויות ממוקדות ויעילות יותר למיגורן. הכנס מיועד לכל מי שמתעניין בממשק בין פסיכולוגיה למדע המדינה, ובאופן רחב יותר לכל המתעניינים במחקר בין-תחומי במדעי החברה לפתרון סוגיות חברתיות בוערות.
Is prejudice a natural group-based phenomenon or an indication of an “ill” society?
What are the functions of discrimination for groups, societies and political systems?
Increasing prejudice, discrimination and social exclusion are some of the central challenges that Western countries currently face. Gaining a deeper understanding of these phenomena requires multi-perspective, interdisciplinary and innovative approach. This workshop will address the ways in which integrating psychological and political perspectives can help increase our understanding of these phenomena, as well as to construct more effective interventions to promote social inclusion.
Speakers will be leading scholars in political science and psychology from Israel and abroad.
