“On Radical Evil and the Banality of Evil: Hannah Arendt and Franz Kafka”
ד״ר אהרוני היא עורכת המשנה של כתב העת דפים לחקר השואה, שמפרסם מכון שטרוכליץ לחקר השואה באוניברסיטת חיפה בשיתוף עם הוצאת רוטלדג׳, והיא מלמדת באוניברסיטת בן-גוריון ובאוניברסיטה הפתוחה.
איתמר בן-עמי, דוקטורנט במחלקה למדע המדינה באוניברסיטה העברית, יגיב על ההרצאה.
ההרצאה נערכת במסגרת סדרת ההרצאות הירושלמית במחשבה פוליטית ובתולדות הרעיונות של האוניברסיטה העברית. היא תיערך בחדר הסמינרים של המחלקה למדע המדינה – חדר 4326 בגוש 3 בבניין מדעי החברה שבהר הצופים.

“On Radical Evil and the Banality of Evil: Hannah Arendt and Franz Kafka”
Dr. Aharony is Deputy Editor of Dapim: Studies on the Holocaust, published by the Strochlitz Institute for Holocaust Research at the University of Haifa and Routledge, and she teachesa at Ben-Gurion University and at the Open University.
Itamar Ben-Ami, a doctoral candidate at the Hebrew University’s Department of Political Science, will present a response to the lecture.
This lecture is given as part of the Jerusalem Lecture Series in Political Thought and Intellectual History. It will take place at the seminar room in the Department of Political Science at The Hebrew University – Mount Scopus, Social Sciences Building, Block 3, Room 4326.
Guests entering the campus are asked to print out a copy of this email and present it at the gate together with an ID. To gain entry with a car, please send your name and license plate number to one of the organizers at least a day in advance of the seminar.
