Creativity and Social Organization: The Pragmatist Foundations of Knight’s Theory of the Entrepreneur

Roni Hirsch is a Polonsky Academy Fellow at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute. She received her PhD from UCLA, where she specialized in political theory and in the history of economics. Her research brings together markets, risk, and democratic politics. Her work has been published in American Journal of Political Science, Cambridge Journal of Economics, Philosophy and Social Criticism, Political Research Quarterly, and Polity. She is currently working on a book manuscript entitled Who Profits.
