The Histories of Ibn Gabirol: Jews, Muslims and Christians in Eleventh-Century al-Andalus - New Perspectives and Directions
במסגרת אירועי אלף שנה להולדת שלמה אבן גבירול, יתקיים ב-14.3.2022 כנס חד-יומי שיתמקד בהקשר ההיסטורי-חברתי הרחב שבו גדל ופעל אבן גבירול, ובעיקר במגוון הקשרים הבין-דתיים בין יהודים, מוסלמים ונוצרים באל-אנדלס של המאה האחת עשרה, לפני כיבושי הנוצרים מצפון וכיבושי המווחדון מדרום.
הכנס יתקיים בשפה האנגלית וירצו בו חוקרות וחוקרים מן הארץ והעולם, ממגוון דיסציפלינות. המושב האחרון יהיה שולחן עגול שידון בכיוונים נדרשים ואפשרויות חדשות בחקר התקופה.
הכנס יתקיים פנים-אל-פנים במוזיאון אנו: מוזיאון העם היהודי (בית התפוצות) בקמפוס אוניברסיטת תל אביב, ובמקביל בזום. דוברים מחו”ל ידברו בזום.
