with Dr hab. Katarzyna Person

7 March 2022 Israel: 19:00 / Poland: 18:00

Moreshet- Mordechai Anielewicz Memorial Education & Research center, The Polish Institute in Tel Aviv, The Association of Israeli Guides and Leaders of Delegations to Poland and Commemoration of the Holocaust, and The Emanuel Ringelblum Jewish Historical Institute are pleased to invite you to:

The lecture will look at women who co-created the Ringelblum Archive, the Underground Archive of the Warsaw ghetto. It will discuss their impact on the way in which women’s experience of the Holocaust was portrayed in the Ringelblum Archive and how their contributions reflected their own specific experiences of ghetto life.

The event will be moderated by Noam Leibman from Moreshet.

Dr hab. Katarzyna Person is a historian of Eastern European Jewish history, working in the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw, currently a 2020-2022 Maria Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich.
