The EU Green Deal and Circular Economy: the Way Ahead in EU Israel Relations
The event will bring together European policy makers from the European Commission and Germany, representatives from the Israeli Ministries of Economy and Environmental Protection and academics, to discuss the EU Green Deal focusing on the circular economy and possible future ramifications for trade relations. EU and German policymakers will address the evolving changes to EU policies, regulations and standards focusing on sustainable product design, secondary material markets, empowering consumers and public buyers and digital data gathering on products and material tracking. Israeli policymakers will address recent efforts at intensifying the shift towards circular economy and major gaps remaining.
