מרכז מינרבה ע”ש פרנץ רוזנצווייג ו’נהריים: כתב עת לספרות ותולדות התרבות היהודית-גרמנית’ שמח להזמין אתכן/ם לסימפוזיון נהריים השנתי הראשון שייערך באופן מקוון ביום חמישי, 14 בינואר 2021, בשעה 20:00. סימפוזיון נהריים יארח מדי שנה חוקרות וחוקרים מובילים ומבטיחים לדיון נושאי ומתודולוגי בחקר הספרות ותולדות התרבות היהודית-הגרמנית.
השנה נושא הסימפוזיון, שיתקיים באנגלית, הוא מוביליות גלובלית והחוויה היהודית-גרמנית: שפה, תרבות והיסטוריה במעבר. במוקד האירוע הרצאתו של אריה דובנוב מאוניברסיטת ג’ורג’ וושינגטון: “מוביליות גלובלית, החוויה היהודית-גרמנית והסמנטיקה של האימפריה: המקרה של ריכרד קבנר”, ואחריה תגובותיהם של רבקה גרוסמן ועמית לוי ממרכז רוזנצווייג ודיון בהשתתפות הקהל.

The Franz Rosenzweig Minerva Research Center (FRMRC) and Naharaim: Journal of German-Jewish Literature and Cultural History are delighted to invite you to the first annual Naharaim Symposium, which will take place online on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at 20:00 (UTC+2). Aimed at hosting leading and promising scholars, the Naharaim Symposium is a platform for discussing topics and methodologies in the study of German-Jewish Literature and Cultural History.
This year’s theme for the symposium is Global Mobility and the German-Jewish Experience: Language, Culture and History in Transition. It will feature a lecture by Arie Dubnov (The George Washington University): ‘Global Mobility, the German-Jewish Experience and the Semantics of Empire: The Case of Richard Koebner’, which will be followed by a response from the FRMRC’s Rebekka Grossmann and Amit Levy, and an open discussion.
