Selma Stern Research Fellowship for Postdoctoral Researchers
The Selma Stern Center for Jewish Studies Berlin-Brandenburg promotes research
collaborations between excellent international scholars and researchers of the Center.
Funded by German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
Postdoctoral Researchers of all nationalities and in all fields of Jewish Studies can carry out part of their research project in cooperation with an academic host (member or affiliated scholar of the Selma Stern Center for Jewish Studies Berlin-Brandenburg).
Who can apply?
– an outstanding doctorate degree completed less than three years ago
– a research project in one of the following research areas of the Selma Stern Center:
o Das monotheistische Dreieck /The monotheistic triangle
o Zeugenschaft – Memorialkultur (nach) der Shoah/Bearing witness – Memorial
Culture after the Shoah
o Sefardische Perspektiven/Sephardic Perspectives
o Diaspora – Migration – Transnationalität /Diaspora – Migration –
– good language proficiency in German and English
