ANPOSS 2019 Inaugural Conference
The Asian Network for the Philosophy of the Social Sciences (ANPOSS) is pleased to announce its first bi-annual conference that will be held on June 1-2, 2019 at Nankai University, in Tianjin, China. We welcome submissions in any area and on any problem related to the philosophy of the social sciences in general, or in more specific disciplinary contexts such as economics, sociology, political science, anthropology, psychology, archaeology, sustainability science, etc; as well as to the study of the social dimensions of scientific inquiry for which social sciences have relevance. We encourage not only philosophers, but also social scientists whether professors or students interested in the philosophy of the social sciences to submit or participate in the conference. Through special arrangement between ANPOSS and the editors of the journal, selected papers from the conference will be published in a special issue of the Philosophy of the Social Sciences. ANPOSS is a young association whose goal is to promote exchange between all those interested in the philosophy of the social sciences within Asia and between them and others elsewhere in the world. We therefore encourage scholars from both Asian and non-Asian regions to submit.
