The Department of Middle Eastern Studies / Political Science is calling for papers to the 3rd volume of the Journal of Interdisciplinary Middle Eastern Studies (JIMES). The journal is interdisciplinary in nature and aims to promote studies related to geopolitical issues in the region of the Middle East and Central Asia. We invite submissions of original articles from researchers across disciplines that include the Middle East, Political Science, International Relations, Communication & Media, Sociology, and Law. We welcome both theoretical and case study papers that engage with the history and contemporary political, social, economic, and cultural aspects of the Middle Eastern and Central Asia countries. The criteria for publication are relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, scientific innovation and high quality. All submissions are peer-reviewed anonymously by referees.
The journal will simultaneously be published online and in print.
The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2018.
