At the Faculty of Philosophy and Education of the University of Vienna the position of a
(full time, permanent position) is to be filled.
Applicants' principal areas of research expertise should be in philosophy of mind, metaphysics and/or epistemology. A track record of outstanding research in at least one of these areas of theoretical philosophy must be demonstrated. Teaching competence should be broader in scope. Other areas in which research or teaching competence would be desirable include aesthetics, logic, feminist philosophy, history of philosophy, and/or philosophical method.
In addition to pursuing research, the successful applicant will be expected to teach at all levels within study programs (Bachelor, Master, teacher-training, and PhD).
