הציבור מוזמן לכנס אקדמי בנושא ג’ז ולהשקת הספר “תולדות הג’ז במאה ה-20″ מאת דן כהן בהוצאת האוניברסיטה הפתוחה. הכנס הוא שיתוף פעולה בין האוניברסיטה הפתוחה, אוניברסיטת חיפה וה”Jazzinstitut Darmstadt” – ארכיון הג’ז הגדול באירופה. מרצה האורח של הכנס יהיה דר’ וולפראם קנאוור המנהל את הארכיון.
