Extent of Employment: 40.0 hours/week
Job grading in accordance with collective bargaining agreement: §48 VwGr. B1 lit. b (postdoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.
Job Description:
Participation in research, teaching and administration especially in the field of “Music before 1600” – (International) Publishing and presentation activities – Holding classes due to extent regulations of wage agreement – Examination activities – Support of students – Participation in administration of the institute/ department
Profile:
PhD in musicology with a Focus on the History of Western Music before 1600 – Very good skills in music analysis and source studies – High competence in disciplinary and interdisciplinary research questions – Knowledge of principles of teaching – Excellent command of written and oral language – Ability to work in a team – Excellent command of written and spoken English
Experience in knowledge management – Knowledge of university structures and processes – Teaching experience – Knowledge in professional music setting and edition of music;
