Call for a Tenure Track Faculty Research Position
The Department of Criminology, Bar Ilan University invites relevant candidates to
submit an application for a tenure track research position at the level of lecturer or
senior lecturer.
The successful applicant will have:
➢ Degrees in criminology, psychology, sociology, education, social work, brain
sciences or related fields
➢ A proven record of excellence in research (e.g. publications in international peerreviewed journals, grants, prizes, post-doctorate)
➢ Teaching experience
➢ Ability to integrate and work in a team
➢ International recognition appropriate for the applied level
Candidates must be fluent in Hebrew at a level sufficient for teaching
Required documents
• CV and academic profile in the following format: CV format
• Teaching records (2 years; including student scores where applicable)
• 2-3 representative articles

• 2 letters of recommendation from an academic recommender at the level of
Senior Lecturer or above . The recommendations should be sent by the
recommenders directly to Professor Galit Nahari, Head of the Criminology
