הפקולטה למדעי הרוח פונה למועמדות/ים, חוקרים/ות מצטיינות/ים, להגשת מועמדות למשרה תקנית באחד מהתחומים הבאים:
חקר הנצרות: מחקר היסטורי-תרבותי של העולם הנוצרי בדגש על ימי-הביניים באזורי המזרח התיכון ואירופה.
על החוקר/ת להציע את החיבורים המתאימים בין חקר הנצרות להתפתחות ההיסטורית וההגותית האירופאית, להתפתחות המרחב הרב-תרבותי הים-תיכוני, ולקשר ההדדי בין התרבויות המונותיאיסטיות שאפיין ועודו ממשיך לאפיין את עולמנו.
רפואה הומניסטית Medical Humanities)): מחקר של בריאות ורווחה, גוף ונפש בתחומי מדעי הרוח.
תפקיד החוקר/ת יהיה לחבר בין תחומים שונים בפקולטה, כגון היסטוריה, פילוסופיה, ארכיאולוגיה, יהדות, מדעי הדתות, ו/או חינוך, סביב הנושאים של בריאות ורווחה.
חקר התודעה: חקר התודעה האנושית והמשגה של עולמו הפנימי של האדם, מבנהו, דרך פעולתו ומצביו המנטאליים מכיוון מדעי הרוח. מחקר המתמקד במודל הומניסטי אינטגרטיבי רב-תחומי של התודעה האנושית והמשגת דרכי פעולתה בתרבויות שונות.
יהדות עכשווית במבט פילוסופי: מחקר המתמקד בשאלות היסוד ומבט פילוסופי של היהדות העכשווית, קיום יהודי, זהות ופלורליזם, היחס לזר ולאחר, יחס היהדות לדתות אחרות, תיאו-פוליטיקה, מדינת ישראל והגולה, לאומיות, אחרות, מגוון, וכל ההקשרים האתיים, ההרמנויטיים והמטפיזיים הנגזרים מהם במבט פילוסופי.
המשרה מיועדת למועמד/ת בפילוסופיה אשר יעסקו בחשיבה מחדש על המצב היהודי ומקום היהדות בארץ ובעולם.
הפילוסופיה וההיסטוריה של המחשבה הכלכלית: מחקר המתמקד בהיבטים הרעיוניים והפילוסופיים של הכלכלה כתחום ידע (תיאוריות כלכליות וכלכלה פוליטית), ו/או בהיבטים מטריאליים של מחשבה כלכלית (משאבים, טבע, טכנולוגיה, סביבה) ו/או בהתפתחותם.
מדעי הרוח הדיגיטליים: מחקר הומניסטי רב-תחומי, המבוסס על שילוב של כלים ושיטות מתחום מדעי הרוח הדיגיטליים עם תחומי-ידע שונים בפקולטה, ובכללם מדעי היהדות וארכיאולוגיה, פילוסופיה, היסטוריה, ספרות וחקר התרבות. על המועמד/ת להיות בעל/ת נסיון והכשרה במדעי הרוח הדיגיטליים, וכן יכולת להוביל את ההקמה של מעבדת מחקר ייעודית לתחום בפקולטה למדעי הרוח.
על המועמד/ת למשרה בכל אחד מהתחומים המוצעים להתחייב להוראת קורסים בשפה העברית ובשפה האנגלית, ויכולת לבצע מחקר עצמאי בתחומים הרלוונטיים.

המשרה פתוחה למועמדים ומועמדות בעלי תואר “דוקטור לפילוסופיה”. ההעסקה במסגרת המשרה המוצעת תתחיל בשנת הלימודים תשפ”ג.
המשרה היא תקנית ועשוייה להוביל למעמד של קביעות בתום תקופת הניסיון.
הליכי המינוי של המועמדות/ים ייעשו בהתאם לנוהלי המינויים הנהוגים באוניברסיטה, בכפוף לאישור המוסדות האקדמיים המוסמכים ולפי שיקול דעתם. הדרגה האקדמית תיקבע על פי כישוריו/ה של המועמד/ת.
הגשת המועמדות למשרה צריכה לכלול מכתב פנייה ובו תיאור קצר של המועמד/ת ומסלול חיים אקדמי (עד שני עמודים), קורות חיים, רשימת פרסומים, מבחר עבודות, תיאור תמציתי של תכנית מחקר עתידית (בהיקף של עמוד), וכן סילבוס טנטטיבי של שלושה קורסים.
מועמדים/ות שיעברו לשלב השני יתבקשו לדאוג לכך ששלושה מכתבי המלצה מחוקרים/ות בעלי מעמד אקדמי בכיר יישלחו ישירות על-ידי הממליצים/ות לכתובת שלהלן.

Call for Applications for a Tenure-track Position in the Faculty of Humanities (position #1)
The Lester and Sally Entin Faculty of Humanities at Tel Aviv university invites applications from outstanding researchers for a tenure-track position in one of the following areas:
- The Study of Christianity: Historical-cultural research of the Christian world, with a focus on medieval Europe and the Mediterranean basin. The candidate should propose the links connecting the study of Christianity to European history and thought, to the evolution of the multicultural Mediterranean region, and to the interrelations among the monotheistic cultures that have shaped our world.
- Medical Humanities: The study of health and wellness, body and mind within the different fields of the Humanities. The candidate should propose links connecting different disciplinary areas in the Faculty of Humanities, namely History, Philosophy, Archeology, Jewish Studies, Religious Studies and/or Education, around themes pertaining to health and wellness.
- The Study of Consciousness: The study of human consciousness and the conceptualization of our inner world, its structure, functions, and mental states from a Humanities perspective. Research focusing on an integrative humanistic and multidisciplinary model of human consciousness and the conceptualization of its functions within different cultures.
- Contemporary Judaism from a Philosophical Perspective: Research focusing on fundamental questions and a philosophical view of contemporary Judaism, Jewish existence, identity and pluralism, attitudes toward foreigners and the ‘other’, Jewish attitudes toward other religions, Theopolitics, the State of Israel and the Jewish diaspora, nationalism, otherness, diversity, and all the ethical, hermeneutical and metaphysical contexts that derive from them, from a philosophical outlook. This position is intended for a researcher in Philosophy, who will deal with rethinking the Jewish condition and the place of Judaism in Israel and abroad.
- The Philosophy and History of Economic Thought: Research focusing on the intellectual and philosophical aspects of economics as a scholarly discipline (economic theories and political economy), and/or with the material aspects of economic thought (resources, nature, technology, environment) and/or with their evolution.
- Digital Humanities: Multidisciplinary research in the Humanities, based on employing the methods and tools of Digital Humanities within different humanistic disciplines, including Jewish Studies, Archeology, Philosophy, History, Literature, and Cultural Studies. The researcher should have adequate training and experience in Digital Humanities, as well as the capacity to found and head a Digital Humanities research lab.
Candidates in each of the abovementioned areas must commit to teaching courses in both Hebrew and English, and demonstrate an ability to carry out independent research in relevant fields. The position will be effective from either July or October 2022.
Candidates for the position must have received their Ph.D degree by the time of application.
Employment is expected to begin in the academic year of 2022/2023.
The advertised job is for a tenure-track position.
Appointment procedures will be carried out according to the rules and regulations of Tel Aviv University and are subject to approval by the University authorities. Academic rank will be determined according to the candidate’s qualifications.
