Call for Applications – 2021-2022
The School of Criminology at the University of Haifa invites applications for a tenure-track position at any rank. Candidates must hold a PhD in criminology or an affiliated field, and present excellent academic achievements. We are particularly interested in applications from candidates whose research agenda corresponds with the School’s two graduate (M.A) programs: Crime and Addictions, and Crime, Law and Society. Areas of interest include but are not limited to: addictions, drugs and society; criminal justice; law enforcement; cybercrime; crime and victimization; and law and society. Applicants will be evaluated based on their potential to establish or maintain a prominent research program, to capture external funding, and to excel in teaching. Applications must include a CV (including a list of publications and a description of research and teaching interests), as well as contact information for three references. בית הספר לקרימינולוגיה בפקולטה למדעי החברה ע”ש שמואל והרטה עמיר מחפש מועמדים/ות למשרה תקנית בהוראה ומחקר בתחומי העיסוק של ביה”ס. על המועמד/ת להחזיק בתואר שלישי בקרימינולוגיה או באחד התחומים המשיקים, ולהציג הישגים אקדמים מעולים. בפרט מחפש ביה”ס מועמדים אשר תחומי המחקר שלהם תואמים לתכניות הלימוד לתואר שני בביה”ס: פשיעה והתמכרויות; ופשיעה, משפט וחברה. תחומי המחקר הרלוונטיים כוללים את אלו: התמכרויות, סמים וחברה; מערכת המשפט הפלילית; אכיפת חוק; פשיעה קיברנטית; פשיעה וקורבנות; ומשפט וחברה. מועמדים/ות יבחנו על פי יכולתם/ן לבצע מחקר עצמאי מעולה, להשיג מענקי מחקר, ולהצטיין בהוראה. בפניה יש לכלול קורות חיים מלאים, לרבות רשימת פרסומים ותיאור תכנית מחקר ותחומי הוראה, פרטי התקשרות מלאים של שלושה גורמים ממליצים, ופרטים ליצירת קשר. להגשת מועמדות יש לפנות עד 30 בספטמבר, 2020, לד”ר טלי גל, ראש ביה”ס לקרימינולוגיה, אוניברסיטת חיפה tgal1@univ.haifa.ac.il. קבלת המשרה, לרבות קביעת דרגה אקדמית, כפופה למשאבים קיימים, לשיקול דעת של דיקן הפקולטה למדעי החברה ולהחלטה סופית של רקטור האוניברסיטה.
