Theater, Dance & Media
The Committees on Degrees in Theater, Dance, & Media (TDM) and Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality (WGS) are seeking applications for a jointly-appointed College Fellow to teach three courses, with 25% of the appointment reserved for their own research. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2020. The Fellow may also be asked to advise and evaluate senior theses. We are seeking scholars who combine the study of performance with the study of gender and/or sexuality. Applications are particularly welcome from candidates whose research and teaching engages perspectives from beyond the United States. Applicants must have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. by the start of academic year 2020-21.
The appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year, contingent on performance, position availability, curricular need, and divisional dean authorization.
Basic Qualifications: Doctorate is required by the expected start date and must have been received no earlier than 2016.
Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching is desirable.
